Nellore: Police Officials Pay Tribute To DSP Velamuri Sriram
Among those who paid homage were Prakasam District SP V. Harshavardhan Raju, Intelligence SPs Ram Mohan Rao, Lavanya Lakshmi and Ramadevi, Additional SP Khader Basha and other police officers.
NELLORE: Senior police officials, led by additional director general of police (intelligence) Mahesh Chandra Laddha, paid floral tributes to DSP (intelligence) Velamuri Sriram, who passed away in the early hours of Thursday.
According to officials, Sriram died at around 1.30 am. His mortal remains were kept at his residence in Lake View apartment on Mangamuru Road in Ongole, where senior officers, colleagues and well-wishers gathered to pay their respects.
Among those who paid homage were Prakasam District SP V. Harshavardhan Raju, Intelligence SPs Ram Mohan Rao, Lavanya Lakshmi and Ramadevi, Additional SP Khader Basha and other police officers.
Expressing grief over the officer’s demise, the officials conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of the department’s support during the difficult time.
They also prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the loss.
