Nellore Election Helpline Offers Round-the-Clock Assistance
Eight staff members are deployed in each of the three shifts to ensure uninterrupted service, the Collector said.
NELLORE: A helpline call centre set up at Thikkana Pranganam in the Nellore collectorate is providing round-the-clock assistance to the public on the local body elections, district collector and election officer Himanshu Shukla said on Saturday.
Around 50 people contacted the centre between October 14, when the election notification was issued, and October 23, seeking clarification on various aspects of the election process. Staff members are answering queries and forwarding grievances to the departments concerned for resolution.
Eight staff members are deployed in each of the three shifts to ensure uninterrupted service, the Collector said. He urged the public to use the facility to clarify election-related doubts and report problems.
