NDA Scores Unanimous Wins in Jagan’s Pulivendula Bastion
TD bags 20 municipal wards as alliance candidates win MPTC, ZPTC seats unopposed

Pulivendula, the stronghold of former chief minister and YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, has witnessed a series of unanimous victories by NDA alliance candidates in local body elections.
Of the 65 MPTC seats in Pulivendula, 64 were declared unanimous by election officials on Tuesday. Three of the seven ZPTC seats were also won unopposed.
The developments follow the unanimous election of 20 TD candidates to municipal wards, announced after scrutiny four days ago.
The victories have attracted attention in a constituency associated with the Y.S. family for nearly four decades. Candidates backed by parties other than the Y.S. family have secured several seats without a contest.
The deadline for withdrawal of nominations for MPTC and ZPTC elections across the state ended on Tuesday afternoon. Officials declared candidates elected unanimously where only one nominee remained.
Interestingly, Jagan Mohan Reddy was in Pulivendula when the results were announced.
