NDA Cancels Tirupati Meeting Following Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Mishap

Vijayawada:The NDA coalition has cancelled its public meeting scheduled to be held in Tirupati on Tuesday following the industrial mishap at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP).

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu took the decision after consultations with Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena president K. Pawan Kalyan and Andhra Pradesh BJP president P.V.N. Madhav.

The meeting was part of the NDA’s statewide outreach programme and was scheduled to be attended by senior leaders of the Telugu Desam, Jana Sena and BJP.

The coalition leadership decided to call off the programme in view of the tragedy at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
