Students of Zilla Parishad High School, Narsipuram, have qualified for the prestigious Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RBVP) 2025.
Visakhapatnam: Parvathipuram Manyam district has reason to celebrate as students of Zilla Parishad High School, Narsipuram, have qualified for the prestigious Rashtriya Bal Vaigyanik Pradarshani (RBVP) 2025, the national-level science exhibition organised by NCERT.
Their project, ‘Grama Musthabu’ (A Vision for Waste Management), earned recognition at the Southern India Science Fest held in Vijayawada, organised by the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum (VITM), Bengaluru.
Class IX students D. Rishindra Naidu and S. Gunavardhan developed the model, drawing inspiration from the district collector’s Musthabu initiative. The project focuses on sustainable and practical waste management solutions for rural communities, blending innovation with real-world application.
The students were guided by Physics teacher G. Muralikrishna, with strong support from Headmaster Bonu Satyanarayana and the school staff.
Congratulating the students, N. Balakrishna Rao, general secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Teachers Federation (APTF), Parvathipuram Manyam district, said it was a moment of pride that rural students were competing at the national level. He said their achievement reflected both the dedication of teachers and the untapped potential of students in government schools.
Members of the Parents Management Committee, villagers and education officials also congratulated the students, hailing them for bringing laurels to the district and inspiring other young learners.
