Lokesh to Study Education, Tech Models During Australia Visit

Lokesh will study teaching methods at the universities in Australia and take part in road shows to make the CII partnership conference a success

Vijayawada: Minister for education and IT Nara Lokesh will visit Australia from October 19 to 24 as part of a Special Visits Programme initiated by the Australian government. The invitation was formally extended by Australian High Commissioner Philip Green, who praised Andhra Pradesh’s leadership in human resource development, technology, and economic progress.

During the visit, Lokesh will study advanced teaching methodologies at leading Australian universities and participate in roadshows promoting the upcoming CII Partnership Summit, scheduled for November 14–15 in Visakhapatnam.

According to official sources, Lokesh will arrive in Sydney at 11.30 a.m. (local time) on October 19 and attend a Telugu diaspora meet at the Sydney Cricket Ground later that evening.

On October 20, he will visit the University of New South Wales (UNSW) at Randwick, meet New South Wales MPs and business leaders, and tour the TAFE NSW Ultimo campus with Australia’s Minister for Skills and Training, Andrew Giles. He will also attend a CII–Australia–India Business Council roadshow at the NSW Parliament House complex.

His itinerary includes meetings with ministers and industry leaders in Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Melbourne, covering education, innovation, agriculture, and sports infrastructure. Lokesh will conclude his visit with a roundtable on international education hosted by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission in Melbourne before returning to Hyderabad on October 25.
