Naidu’s usual attire in bone-chilling temperatures at Davos goes viral

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s participation in the Davos Investment Summit in his usual attire despite the chill there turned viral on Tuesday.
Naidu’s pictures showed him without a sweater or jerkin, arousing the curiosity of those browsing the social media. Notably, while Naidu’s companions donned warm sweaters that helped them withstand sub-zero temperatures, the CM opted for lighter attire without even a scarf.
Davos in Switzerland is hosting the World Economic Forum, which saw the attendance of leaders from various states and nations hoping to attract investments from entrepreneurs and great businesses. Naidu, who styles himself as state CEO, headed the AP team to the WEF.
The 74-year-old Naidu was seen in his usual yellow shirt and pants. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Union aviation minister Rammohan Naidu, Telangana minister Sridhar Babu, as also TG Venkatesh and Nara Lokesh were all wearing coats/sweaters.
Chandrababu Naidu has been to Davos nine times. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went to the summit only once -- in 2022. Revanth Reddy has also gone there only once. Former Telangana chief minister had avoided the summit during his 10-year tenure.
