Chandrababu Naidu commended the Indian Armed Forces for their valiant fight under tense conditions. He underlined that both soldiers and civilians have lost their lives in this battle.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the decision of India and Pakistan to cease fire at each other.
“The ceasefire has come at the request of Pakistan,” the AP CM disclosed while addressing the All Faith Meeting at the Raj Bhavan on Saturday in the presence of AP Governor S. Abdul Nazeer and Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan.
“The India-Pakistan ceasefire is a positive outcome. We express our heartfelt condolences to those who lost their lives in the conflict. Let us pass a resolution in support of the Central Government,” Chandrababu Naidu told the audience.
The AP Chief Minister went on to underline, “Terrorism remains the greatest threat the world faces today. “Nation comes first’ should be our collective slogan. In times of national crisis, it is everyone’s responsibility to stand united and move forward together. In a democracy, it is a great privilege when people come together for the nation despite differing opinions,” he pointed out.
Chandrababu Naidu said, “No matter what decision the Prime Minister or the Central Government takes to protect the integrity of the country, the Telugu people and the people of Andhra Pradesh will stand solidly in support.”
The CM said no one can ease the pain of the families who have lost their loved ones. “Among the victims are two tourists from our own state,” he stated.
Chandrababu Naidu commended the Indian Armed Forces for their valiant fight under tense conditions. He underlined that both soldiers and civilians have lost their lives in this battle.
“One such braveheart is Murali Naik, a soldier from Andhra Pradesh, who sacrificed his life at the age of just 25, fighting heroically against Pakistan. Naik said he would die with the national flag draped over his body and he did,” the AP Chief Minister disclosed, expressing deep respect for the AP soldier’s courage.
He emphasised that Andhra Pradesh is a state free from religious strife. That is why the Interfaith Prayer Meeting had leaders from all religions participating in the meeting as one.
