Naidu Struggling Immensely to Steal Credit for Bhogapuram Airport: Jagan

Hyderabad: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday alleged that the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was struggling immensely to steal credit for the Bhogapuram Airport.
Addressing a press conference, Jagan Mohan Reddy mentioned that Naidu initially wanted 15,000 acre for the Bhogapuram Airport and later 5,000 acre. He further claimed that despite there being 130 court cases against the airport, the YSRCP government overcame all of them and personally laid the foundation stone for the project.
Jagan Mohan Reddy asserted that his administration cleared significant legal hurdles related to 130 cases to move the project forward and laid the foundation stone for it. The YSRCP government spent Rs.960 crore for the project, he said, adding that he earlier declared that the airport would be opened in 2026.
