Naidu Praises Nellore For Exceeding State Averages in Several Sectors

Nellore: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday praised the performance of Nellore officials, stating that the district has achieved better results than state averages when it comes to several government departments.
During a departmental review at the Matsyakara Sevalo programme held at Thummalapenta village, the CM especially appreciated district collector Himanshu Shukla, as a high percentage of people in the district have expressed satisfaction with the government services.
Naidu commended officials of the irrigation, fire services, agriculture, social welfare, DRDA, education, and health departments for their effective performance. He said Nellore stood first in the state in implementation of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Mid-Day Meal schemes, while also performing well in school education, Deepam scheme implementation, re-survey, and F-Line survey works.
The Chief Minister appreciated agricultural officials for ensuring adequate urea supply to farmers without leading to shortage. He praised Anganwadi workers for their services to women and children in rural areas. He noted that drinking water supply, paddy procurement, BC hostels, streetlight maintenance, and transport department services are functioning efficiently in the district.

While expressing satisfaction over the implementation of Swarna Gramam Swarna Wardu programme and functioning of government hospitals, the CM suggested that officials improve drinking water supply facilities to temples and further strengthen Anna Canteen services.
He said the district administration under collector Himanshu Shukla is working efficiently. He asked officials to strive towards achieving 90 per cent public satisfaction in functioning of all departments and ensure that welfare benefits reach people effectively.
