AP aims to make various drone services within the reach of ordinary people
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the AP Drone Mart Portal at the Secretariat here on Monday.
The AP drone corporation has developed the portal to avail drone services to those in varied sectors like agriculture, infrastructure, disaster management etc. Drones are already being used for spraying pesticide in the fields. With the launch of the portal, the commoners could also use drones for survey, supervision of major works and to provide security and take up mapping.
The AP Drone Corporation is reaching the drone services through its portal to all the districts, government departments, various agencies and service providers while the service providers would fix charges for such services.
Naidu directed the officials to provide more services to the people and said the charges for drone services should be reasonable and within the reach of the ordinary people.
