Naidu Consoles Bereaved Farmer’s Family Over Phone

Rama Rao had attended a meeting on the development of the N-8 road with farmers from Mandadam village in Thullur mandal on Friday. The meeting was organised by municipal administration minister P. Narayana and MLA Sravan Kumar.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu spoke to the bereaved family members of farmer Dondapati Rama Rao, who died of a heart attack, and assured them of all possible support from the state government.

Rama Rao had attended a meeting on the development of the N-8 road with farmers from Mandadam village in Thullur mandal on Friday. The meeting was organised by municipal administration minister P. Narayana and MLA Sravan Kumar.

During the meeting, the farmer expressed his willingness to part with his land for the road development. He also requested that alternative land be provided at one location for all residents of the colony where he lived.

After returning home, Rama Rao reportedly collapsed while sitting on a chair following a heart attack. Though he was immediately shifted to a private hospital, he died before reaching the facility.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister advised minister P. Narayana and MLA Sravan Kumar to extend all necessary assistance to the bereaved family.
