MP Requests Railways for RuB at Tada
He also noted that workers and employees travelling daily to Sri City were facing delays, with frequent traffic jams increasing accident risks

Nellore: Tirupati MP Maddila Gurumoorthy urged the Centre to sanction a road under bridge (RuB) at level-crossing gate No. 49 near Tada South Cabin in Sullurpet constituency to ease traffic congestion and public hardship.
Local leaders had met the MP on Tuesday and submitted a representation on difficulties caused by frequent and prolonged closure of the railway gate due to continuous train movement.
Acting on it, Gurumoorthy wrote to Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw seeking immediate approval for the project.
He said students were missing classes as they could not reach schools and colleges on time, while ambulances and emergency vehicles were getting stuck for long durations.
He also noted that workers and employees travelling daily to Sri City were facing delays, with frequent traffic jams increasing accident risks.
The MP urged swift approval and construction of the RuB in the interest of public safety and smoother transport.
