MP Donates 5 SUVs to Nellore Police
The vehicles have been allocated to Allur, Dagadarthi, Bitragunta and Kavali Rural police stations

Nellore: The Nellore district police received five SuVs worth approximately `55 lakh, donated by BMR Group chairman and Rajya Sabha MP Beeda Mastan Rao, along with MLC Beeda Ravichandra and associates, on Tuesday. District superintendent of police Dr Ajitha Vejendla expressed gratitude for the support at the district police office.
The vehicles have been allocated to Allur, Dagadarthi, Bitragunta and Kavali Rural police stations, as well as the Kavali Rural Circle Office, to strengthen policing and improve response capabilities.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Beeda Mastan Rao lauded the police department for effectively maintaining law and order and controlling crime. He said quality vehicles were essential for efficient policing and assured continued support to the department.
Ajitha Vejendla thanked the donors for recognising the services of the district police and said the contribution would enable faster and more proactive service to the public, while expressing hope for similar support in the future.
The event was attended by senior police officials, including additional SP (admin) Soujanya, Kavali DSP Sridhar, Town DSP Giridhar, Rural DSP G. Srinivasa Rao, SB DSP Srinivasa Rao, AR DSP Chandramohan, and other officers and staff from various subdivisions.
