Pawan Kalyan Comments Case: Duvvada Srinivas Evades Police Questions

As per reports, Srinivas evaded most of the queries asked by the Srikakulam Police and repeatedly responding with “I don’t know” and “I have nothing to do with it.”

Srikakulam: Police in Kotturu, Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh, questioned MLC Duvvada Srinivas for over eight hours on Monday in connection with a case in which he allegedly made derogatory remarks against Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan last year.

The case was registered on March 8th, 2025, by Jana Sena Party leaders, and the Srikakulam police called the MLC for questioning. As per reports, Srinivas evaded most of the police queries, repeatedly responding with “I don’t know” and “I have nothing to do with it.”

When officers showed him a clip of the video where he made the alleged remarks, he reportedly dismissed it as an AI-made video. Police later said that Srinivas did not cooperate with the investigation. He has been served notice to appear again on June 27.

Meanwhile, while the inquiry was underway, around 40 supporters led by his partner, Divvela Madhuri, staged a sit-in protest outside Kotturu police station demanding that Duvvada be released. Madhuri also entered into an argument with police officials at the site, leading to tense moments.

Kotturu CI Prasad Rao said a separate case has been booked against Srinivas, Madhuri, and 16 others for staging the protest in front of the police station.
