Missing Children Traced and Reunited with Parents in Eluru

Police said the swift response helped ensure the children were traced without delay.

Kakinada: Eluru Two Town police on Tuesday traced two missing children and reunited them with their parents within 20 minutes of receiving a distress call.

Eluru DSP D. Sravan Kumar said Bandi Naresh and his wife Bhargavi had dialled 112 to report that their three-year-old and five-year-old children were missing from Tapimestri Colony in Eluru.

Immediately after receiving the information, the DSP formed three search teams and alerted Two Town Circle Inspector K. Ashok Kumar. The police located the children, who were found alone in the Lankapeta area, and safely handed them over to their parents.

Police said the swift response helped ensure the children were traced without delay.
