Seven children die in tragic accidents in Vizianagaram, Chittoor; CM Naidu offers condolences and support

Vijayawada: Seven children died in separate incidents in the Vizianagaram and Chittoor districts on Sunday.
In Chittoor district, three children from Devarajapuram village in Kuppam mandal fatally fell into a water reservoir while playing. The children, Gautami, Shalini and Ashwin, were from the same family.
In Vizianagaram district, four children died when they got trapped inside a locked car. The children had climbed into a parked vehicle while playing but were unable to escape when the doors got locked.
The children were Uday, Jashirath, Charulatha and Manishwari. They succumbed to asphyxiation inside the vehicle. All these children were aged under ten.
Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu expressed his anguish and profound sorrow over the deaths of these children and promised their families that the government would provide them necessary support.
