Ministers participate in Sri Rama Navami festivities

Thousands of pilgrims thronged the Sri Ramalayam in Kallur, the Kodanda Ramalayam in Veldurthi, and the Chenna Kesava temple in Koilakuntla

Kurnool: Marking Sri Rama Navami on Sunday, the Sri Sitarama Kalyanam ritual was held at the Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple in Banganapalle, under the auspices of Roads and Buildings Minister BC Janardhan Reddy and his wife.

He said, “Regardless of the passage of time, Lord Rama's life remains exemplary for everyone.” Nandyal district collector Rajakumari, SP Adhiraj Singh, alliance leaders, activists and a large number of people were present.

In Kurnool, industries minister TG Bharath took part in events at various wards, where Sitarama Kalyanam, annadanam and free medical camps were the highlights. All Vaishnava temples in the erstwhile Kurnool district witnessed a surge of devotees attending the Kalyanotsavam of Lord Sri Rama and Sita Devi on Sri Rama Navami.

Thousands of pilgrims thronged the Sri Ramalayam in Kallur, the Kodanda Ramalayam in Veldurthi, and the Chenna Kesava temple in Koilakuntla. Several Vaishnava temples across both Kurnool and Nandyal districts were packed with devotees.

Prakasam SP, Damodar, participated in the Sri Rama Kalyanam at the temple located within the police headquarters in Ongole town. He offered silk robes to the deities. Senior police officials were also present.
