Minister Ramanaidu Accuses Jagan Of Inciting Religious Hatred

Water Resources minister Nimmala Ramanaidu has alleged that the YSRC chief and former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is inciting religious hatred to vitiate politics and come to power again.

Kakinada:Water Resources minister Nimmala Ramanaidu has alleged that the YSRC chief and former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is inciting religious hatred to vitiate politics and come to power again.

Laying the foundation stone for construction of a ₹2.62 crore road in Poduru of West Godavari district on Friday, Ramanaidu accused Jagan Mohan Reddy of trying to exploit the death of pastor Pagadala Praveen Kumar in a road accident.

He went on to charge that the former CM had blundered in appointing an atheist as the TTD Board chairman.

The minister charged YSRC with following double standards during the passage of the Wakf Amendment Bill in parliament. In this regard, he pointed out that as party chief, the former CM issued a whip on voting, though after completion of voting.

He maintained that the Enforcement Directorate seizing ₹800 crore worth properties of Jagan Mohan Reddy prove that the latter is corrupt.

Later, Ramanaidu visited the Damayyaparthi drain and inspected the ongoing works being implanted at a cost of ₹14 crore. He pointed out that once the drain is completed, there will be no inundation in Palakollu during the rainy season, thereby removing the hardships that people living in the face.
