Minister Calls For Steps To Launch Sanjeevani Scheme On Jan 1
At present, Andhra Pradesh has 904 vehicles providing 104 mobile healthcare services, which will be used for the Sanjeevani scheme.
Vijayawada:Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav has directed officials to make arrangements for launching the digital and preventive healthcare initiative, Sanjeevani, in the State from January 1.
At a hybrid-mode meeting with district medical and health officers and medical superintendents of teaching hospitals on Wednesday, health secretary G. Veerapandian and health commissioner Chakradhar Babu briefed the minister on measures being taken for the launch.
Health authorities said 71 of the 104 (Arogya Rathams) vehicles would be flagged off at Dharmavaram on September 25. They said several health tests, including blood pressure and blood sugar tests, would be conducted, with 41 types of tests to be provided free of cost.
