Minister Durgesh Announces Drafting of Konaseema Tourism Circuit
The minister said the initiative would boost inbound tourism and increase tourist arrivals.
Kakinada:Tourism and Culture minister Kandula Durgesh on Tuesday said a comprehensive tourism circuit connecting the Godavari coastal region would be prepared involving various attractions, such as water sports on the river, Rajavaram Pyramid Centre, Vadapalli Venkateswara Swamy Temple, and Jaganmohini Kesava Swamy Temple.
Durgesh said the Tourism department is preparing a detailed project with regard to the circuit. They will bring the project to the attention of union Tourism minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for funding.

He visited the Sri Vashista Gowthami Pyramid Dhyana Maha Kshetram at Rajavaram village in Atreyapuram mandal of Konaseema district. Addressing a gathering, he said yoga and meditation are crucial for overcoming mental stress encountered in daily life and attaining peace of mind.
He disclosed that several global investors have expressed interest in developing spiritual, wellness, yoga, Ayurveda and meditation centres.
