Minister Kollu Ravindra says festival to showcase Andhra's culture, cuisine, and coastal spirit
Masula Fest 2025 is set to celebrate Andhra Pradesh’s heritage with cultural shows, water sports, and a festive beach atmosphere.
Minister for mines, geology and excise, Kollu Ravindra, announced that the Masula Fest 2025 will be held at Manginapudi Beach, Machilipatnam, from May 15 to 17.
He said the beach festival will highlight Andhra Pradesh’s rich traditions, culture, and cuisine. Inspired by the success of the 2018 edition, the event will feature entertainment, cultural performances, and water sports, including kayaking and beach kabaddi, with support from the Central government.
Ravindra stated that this year’s event is provisionally recognised as a state festival. “Lakhs of people attended in 2018, and we expect an even bigger turnout this year,” he said, adding that extensive preparations are underway. Officials have been instructed to ensure smooth traffic and prevent congestion. The full festival schedule and guest list will be announced soon.
