Kakinada:Married girls of all faiths can attend the AP EAPCET-2026 (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) examination wearing traditional ornaments like Mangala Sutra, necklaces etc.

Stating this, APEAPCET-2026 convener N Mohan Rao said no candidate should carry with him/her any electronic gadgets. If students attend the test with mehandi done to their hands, and if this causes any obstacle to biometric, such students would not be allowed entry to the examination hall.
As many as 3,55,011 students including 2,76,582 for engineering and 79,224 students for agriculture and pharmacy wing will appear for the examination in 142 test centres including one in Hyderabad.
The examination will be conducted for five days from May 12 to 15 and May 17; Agriculture and Pharmacy from May 19 to 20; for 14 sessions from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm daily.
Mohan Rao said scribes have been allocated to 27 disabled students by way of assisting them in the examination. Urdu medium students will appear for the exam in Kurnool centre.
He said if the students placed their information wrongly online when they submitted their application, the students need not worry about it. “After completing the examination, if they approach APEAPCET-2026 helpline centre, their mistakes will be rectified.”
Rao said that the candidates should bring any original identification card, plus a blue or black ballpoint pen. The candidates will be allowed into the examination hall one and half hour before its start. No electronic gadget would be allowed into the examination centres.
If the candidates take rough papers to the exam halls, after completing the exam, these should be given to invigilators. The candidates can download their hall tickets through APEAPCET website https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in or ``mana mitra’ whatsapp governance 9552300009 phone number.

Mohan Rao said that to create awareness and prepare for the exam, mock test have been provided in the APEAPCET website.
