Man Held for Derogatory Remarks Against Pawan Kalyan, Son

Guntur superintendent of police Satish Kumar told the media in Guntur on Wednesday that the accused, identified as Puttapasam Raghu alias Pushparaj, was arrested following a complaint filed by one M. Sambasiva Rao at Prathipadu police station.

Vijayawada: A man was arrested at Gudur mandal in Kurnool district on Tuesday on charges of posting derogatory remarks against Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and his younger son Mark Sankar on a social media platform.

Guntur superintendent of police Satish Kumar told the media in Guntur on Wednesday that the accused, identified as Puttapasam Raghu alias Pushparaj, was arrested following a complaint filed by one M. Sambasiva Rao at Prathipadu police station.

Raghu, who studied up to intermediate and was working as a technician in a mobile phone shop, reportedly made objectionable comments about Pawan Kalyan after Jana Sena activists allegedly targeted his favourite actor Allu Arjun during his visit to Nandyal to support a YSRC candidate in the last Assembly elections. The SP advised the people to use the social media platforms responsibly.
