According to the government railway police authorities, a special drive was taken up against ganja and drug abuse by joint teams of RPG, GRP, local police, and Eagle.

Vijayawada: A man was detained for having a packet of 40 pieces of ‘Bhang Chocolates’ weighing about 220 grams suspected to contain ganja at Vijayawada Railway Sstation on Friday.
According to the government railway police authorities, a special drive was taken up against ganja and drug abuse by joint teams of RPG, GRP, local police, and Eagle. When the team inspected the Coromandel Express (12841), it found a man identified as Kailash Kumar hailing from Korkatta in Jharkhand carrying the ‘Bhang Chocolates’ and detained him for further questioning. He confessed to having purchased the chocolates at a Kirana shop in his village.
