Man Allegedly Kills Wife Over Suspicion About Her Character

A man allegedly killed his wife after suspecting her character near the National Park area under III Town police station limits in Anantapur on Friday.

According to police, K. Rajesh and K. Akhila were a couple residing in Revenue Colony in Anantapur. Rajesh allegedly suspected Akhila after she spoke to others over the phone and took her to the National Park area.

Police said an argument broke out after Rajesh questioned his wife, following which he allegedly attacked her with a sharp knife. Akhila suffered serious injuries and died on the spot.

III Town police reached the spot, shifted the body to Anantapur Government General Hospital and launched a search for the accused.
