Vijayawada: Former AP Planning Board vice chairman Malladi Vishnu has described Telugu Desam-led coalition government’s first year’s rule as a complete failure.
Addressing a “Babu Surety – Mosam Guarantee” campaign in Cluster 3 of Vijayawada Central constituency on Sunday, Vishnu accused AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu of misleading the public with false promises.
The former MLA released a QR code, which details TD’s unfulfilled promises, while personally launching a door-to-door campaign in this regard in the Vijayawada’s Central constituency.
Addressing people on the occasion, Vishnu said they have launched the Babu Surety – Mosam Guarantee following the call of former CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s call to spread awareness about Chandrababu Naidu continuing to deceive people with his un-kept promises of not only 2024 but also 1999, 2004 and 2014.
Highlighting the performance of the two governments, the former MLA said Naidu’s government is providing only 36 lakh pensions, while the YSRC regime ensured that the pensions reached 64 lakh.
He criticised the state government for mishandling the Budameru floods crisis, resulting in massive losses to the public. He ridiculed the “Suparipalana – Toli Adugu” campaign as deceptive.
