Malaysia Visit: Narayana Studies Safe Practices In Solid Waste Management, Low Cost Housing

Minister P. Narayana is touring in Malaysia. On the second day of his tour on Friday in the foreign country, the minister studied the best practices employed in solid waste management and low cost housing. In Selangor state, he visited the Bukit Tagar Enviro Park.

Bukit Tagar is known as the largest sanitary land filling area. The minister studied the scientific method in which solid waste is being buried in soil to avoid harmful effects to the environment.

The officials briefed the minister about the pollution-free process being adopted in handling the waste. Later in the day, Narayana would visit the affordable housing projects taken up by Berjaya Group.

In the evening, he would meet the representatives of Sunway and Gamuda projects.
