Fire Breaks Out at Pharma City in Anakapalli

Anakapalli: A major fire broke out at a pharmaceutical company in Parawada Pharma City in Anakapalli district around midnight.
The blaze erupted in Production Block-2 of Sri Sai Chandana Pharma at Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City. Huge flames engulfed the building and firefighters rushed to the spot.
12 fire engines from Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts were pressed into service, and after several hours of firefighting, the blaze was brought under control.
All 40 workers present at the time of the fire escaped safely.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be ascertained.
