Maize Cargo Flagged Off From Krishnapatnam Port To Vietnam
Himanshu Shukla and Jagadish Patel jointly inaugurated the export operation at the port: Reports

NELLORE: In a major boost to maize farmers in SPSR Nellore district, a large consignment of corn was flagged off from Krishnapatnam Port to Vietnam on Tuesday, opening new international market opportunities for local agricultural produce.
Himanshu Shukla and Jagadish Patel jointly inaugurated the export operation at the port.
The vessel M.V. Parvaraj departed with 53,318 metric tonnes of maize bound for Vietnam.
With maize production recording a bumper yield this season, the district administration took special measures to help farmers secure better prices by facilitating exports through Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited.
Officials said the district administration coordinated with the port authorities and the Agriculture Department to streamline export logistics and arrangements.
The exports are expected to help farmers obtain remunerative prices while enhancing global demand for agricultural produce from the region. Officials described the initiative as a significant step towards expanding international market access and improving farmers’ incomes.
Port officials, Agriculture Department representatives and other officials participated in the programme.
