Cyclonic circulation over Bay of Bengal is likely to form a system by Feb. 15

Visakhapatnam: An upper air cyclonic circulation over the East Equatorial Indian Ocean and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level persisted over the same region on Friday. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same region around February 15, the IMD said in its bulletin.
Director of IMD Stella S said the system was close to Sri Lanka and would not have any impact on Andhra Pradesh.
