Vijayawada: Electronics and IT minister, Nara Lokesh, on Tuesday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving a semiconductor manufacturing facility for Andhra Pradesh, as part of a Rs 4,600 crore Central fund allocations.
Lokesh said, “Semiconductor manufacturing comes to AP, driven by a double engine Sarkar! I am grateful to Prime Minister Modi for sanctioning the facility. The Advanced System in Package Technologies (ASIP) would be tying up with APACT Co Ltd, South Korea, for the start of the unit with an annual capacity of 96 million units.”

In another social media post, on International Youth Day, Lokesh called upon young men and women to join the Andhra Yuva Sankalp 2K25. He said, “Youth are the architects of our future. I call upon every young man and woman to join Andhra Yuva Sankalp 2K25 — an inspiring initiative by transport and sports minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy.”
Lokesh said, “I invite you to register and participate in the Digital Marathon. Let’s skill, strengthen and inspire the youth of Andhra Pradesh.”
