Lokesh urged them to work together to explain the government's development and welfare initiatives to people ahead of the local body elections.

He said infrastructure and public amenities, including underground drainage, a hospital, community halls, parks, anganwadi buildings, libraries and burial grounds, were being developed in Mangalagiri constituency. Roads, shadikhana buildings and community halls had also been constructed in Duggirala mandal.

Recalling the mandate given to the TD-led alliance in the 2024 elections, Lokesh said the result had increased his responsibility towards the constituency.
