Lokesh Reviews Arrangements For PM Modi’s ASR International Airport Visit
Education Minister Nara Lokesh reviewed event arrangements for the August 1 inauguration of ASR International Airport in Visakhapatnam.

Education Minister Nara Lokesh on Tuesday reviewed arrangements for inauguration of the ASR International Airport by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 1.
Lokesh, along with civil aviation minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, watched a PowerPoint presentation on the progress of works related to roads, parking facilities, the terminal building, the public meeting venue, security, crowd management, protocol arrangements, transport and catering.
The minister asked officials to ensure that visitors do not face any inconvenience during the event.
Nearly three lakh people from 32 assembly constituencies are to be organised for the event. The seating capacity for VVIPs has been increased from 520 to 1,000. Separate seating arrangements have also been made for around 3,000 VIPs and 1,000 landowners who had given their land for the airport project.
The review meeting decided to set up 20 food distribution counters on both sides of the main approach road. Lokesh directed the officials to make special arrangements for students attending the event.
Ministers, MPs, MLAs, senior TDP leaders, representatives of airport and senior government officials attended the review.
