Lokesh Receives Rakhis From Mangalagiri Women

VIJAYAWADA: Education and IT minister Nara Lokesh received rakhis from women of Mangalagiri and local Telugu Desam women leaders on Thursday on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.

The women met Lokesh when he arrived in Mangalagiri to attend the foundation-laying ceremony for a modern Rythu Bazaar. They tied rakhis to him and conveyed their greetings.

Later, Lokesh attended the engagement ceremony of Jeharika, daughter of AP registration and stamps department commissioner and inspector-general Bhattu Ambedkar, at CK Convention in Mangalagiri.

Lokesh attended the ceremony along with MP Sribharat and revenue minister Anagani Satyaprasad. He blessed Jeharika and Rahul Deep and congratulated the couple by presenting them with a bouquet.
