Lokesh Meets Maharashtra CM Fadnavis, Discusses Investments and Education Reforms

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh minister for education, information technology and electronics N. Lokesh met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai on Monday and discussed investment promotion, governance initiatives and reforms in the education sector.

During the meeting, Lokesh briefed Fadnavis on efforts being made by the Andhra Pradesh government to attract investments and the implementation of the “Speed of Doing Business” initiative in the state.

He also outlined reforms being introduced in the education sector and initiatives undertaken to strengthen skill development. Lokesh sought information on policies adopted by Maharashtra in the fields of information technology and education.

The two leaders exchanged mementoes during the meeting. Lokesh presented a Mangalagiri handloom shawl and a portrait of Lord Venkateswara to the Maharashtra Chief Minister.

Fadnavis, in turn, presented a portrait of Lord Ganesh to Lokesh.
