Lokesh Holds Praja Darbar At TD Office
Education and IT Minister N. Lokesh received petitions at a Praja Darbar in Mangalagiri, with people seeking solutions to various civic and employment issues.
Education and IT minister N. Lokesh held a Praja Darbar at the Telugu Desam central office in Mangalagiri on Thursday morning and received petitions from people and party workers seeking redressal of various issues.
Representatives of the Welfare and Education Employees Association urged Lokesh to provide a promotion channel for welfare and education assistants working in the village and Swarna Ward Secretariat system and create promotional opportunities for them in the education department.
Representatives of the Banjara Dharma Raksha Samiti sought a monthly honorarium of `15,000 for temple priests in tribal Banjara thandas. They also requested that the Dhoopa, Deepa, Naivedyam scheme be extended to Banjara temples.
The State Gopal Mitra Service Association appealed for job security and an increase in the honorarium for Gopal Mitras working across the state.
C. Vijay Kumar of Chittoor district sought the construction of CC roads in Chikatipalle village of Gudupalle mandal and a BT road to the local burial ground.
Lokesh received the petitions and assured the representatives and individuals that he would examine their requests and make efforts to resolve their problems.
