Vijayawada:Reacting to the clarification given by two women officers over allegations of irregularities in the Mega DSC-2025 teacher recruitment process, education minister N. Lokesh said, “Women power spoke with facts and fake news had nowhere to hide.”
In a post on ‘X’, Lokesh said, “Two women officers laid out the truth, defended our candidates and the integrity of the DSC process. Facts win. Every single time.”
AP School Education commissioner Tamim Ansaria and SAAP vice-chairperson and managing director S. Bharani addressed the media here on Monday. The two officers presented official records and rules to counter allegations being levelled against candidates recruited under the sports quota in Mega DSC-2025.
They provided case-wise clarifications on allegations relating to TET eligibility, caste certificates and sports credentials, based on official records, applicable rules and verification from the institutions concerned.
Their detailed clarification came amid allegations being raised by the Opposition and circulated on social media regarding the recruitment process. The officers said the facts on record did not support several of the allegations and reiterated that any genuine irregularity established through a due inquiry would invite action as per the rules.
They said the TET qualification, educational qualifications, category status and sports credentials of every candidate had been examined against the applicable rules and official records. They stressed that eligible candidates should not be denied justice merely on the basis of allegations. They also made it clear that any certificate found to be fake or any violation of eligibility norms would be dealt with strictly in accordance with the rules.
