Lockup death victim Gade Sai Krishna's body was disposed by CI Nagaraju, his friends and two head constables, according to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) sleuths.
The SIT probe revealed that after CI Nagaraju was arrested, head constables Ashok, Jangam Nani and his friend Suresh went into hiding. Reportedly, head constable Nani was involved in several deals, carrying the clout of CI Nagaraju.
Nani was sent to VR following allegations of corruption at Patamata police station and suspension from Gannavaram station. Nani was given posting at the Krishnalanka police station recently.
The SIT found that Ashok, Nani and Suresh played a crucial role in disposing Sai Krishna's body. The SIT team is on the manhunt for the two head constables and Nagaraju's friend who went into the hiding.
