Liquor Scam Case: CM Naidu Tells Ministers To Respond With Care
The CM said the ministers have worked well in the past one year of the alliance rule. They should however increase their aggressiveness in administration. A cabinet subcommittee would be formed for boosting AP’s international relations.

VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has discussed several key issues with ministers after completion of the agenda-related discussions at the weekly cabinet meeting here on Wednesday.
He advised ministers to respond carefully vis-a-vis the liquor scam issues involving the previous YSR Congress government. The case, he said, was currently in the investigation stage and arrests would be made based on evidence.
However, Naidu said, the ministers should respond carefully in this case as sensitive issues were involved. They should also not over-react. At the same time, the YSR Congress party's likely misinformation campaign regarding the AP liquor scam case should be condemned.
The CM said the ministers have worked well in the past one year of the alliance rule. They should however increase their aggressiveness in administration. A cabinet subcommittee would be formed for boosting AP’s international relations. Ministers will have to go to Singapore in stages/phases to study their government’s policies, he said.
He said Jana Sena and BJP leaders should talk with each other and resolve their differences.
Ministers, he said, should prepare a report on their departments. “I would talk to each minister about the merits of their departments at the next cabinet meeting.”
