The animal was reportedly spotted near the Grand World locality, located along the fringes of the Seshachalam forest region. According to local residents, the leopard ventured close to houses and was seen near a drinking water trough outside a residence.

The sighting prompted many residents to remain indoors. Some locals recorded videos of the leopard from the safety of their rooftops. The footage, which circulated on social media, showed the animal moving through the area during daytime.

Residents alerted forest department officials, who are expected to inspect the area and monitor the leopard's movement. Authorities are likely to step up surveillance and issue precautionary advisories to residents to prevent any human-wildlife conflict.

The incident has once again drawn attention to wildlife movement along the Seshachalam forest fringes, where leopard sightings are reported periodically.
