Legal Action Against Threats to Govt Property: SP
Appropriate legal action will be taken against those found responsible

VISAKHAPATNAM: The ASR district superintendent of police Amit Bardar, has warned of strict legal action against those threatening government property.
In a statement on Saturday, the superintendent of police said certain individuals allegedly threatened to blow up the district collector office and issued threats against the ASR district superintendent of police and others during the Adivasi Mahagarjana rally and public meeting held at Paderu on Friday.
He said threats against government offices or public property constitute a serious offence and would be dealt with strictly under the law.
The SP said police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident. Appropriate legal action will be taken against those found responsible.
He added that while every citizen has the democratic right to express views peacefully, no individual or organisation has the right to threaten government institutions or public property.
