125 acres to be beautified; 300 acres readied for parking ahead of the three-day event

Anantapur: About 125 acres of open land will be beautified before erecting temporary sheds and food serving points as part of the three-day Telugu Desam Mahanadu, to be held near Pabbapuram village in CK Dinne mandal, Kadapa district.

Special significance is attached to the holding of the mega event from April 27 in the home turf of YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the arch enemy of TD president and chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.

The TD politburo, along with a team of ministers and leaders, have been given the responsibility to make the event a big success for the party.

In addition to the beautification of meeting venues in 125 acres of land, an additional 300 acres of farm lands would be readied for the parking of vehicles. This space would be closer to the main stage.

There are fewer lodges and other accommodations in and around the Kadapa headquarters town. The party is hiring private function halls and educational institutions in Kadapa town as also in Proddatur, Rajampet, Rayachoti, Pulivendula, Mydukur and Badvel, for the participants’ stay for three days and nights. Several top leaders from different districts, however, plan to hire luxury buses for their stay.
