Lanka Dinakar Says No Disruptive Forces Can Derail India’s Growth Trajectory

Dinakar alleged that the Congress and its allies are trying to mislead younger voters for political gains

Vijayawada: India’s robust economic performance amid global geopolitical uncertainties reflect the strength of reforms introduced by the NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Lanka Dinakar, chairman of the Twenty Point Programme (Viksit Bharat – Swarna Andhra Pradesh) Implementation Committee.

Dinakar said India’s 7.7 per cent economic growth in the 2025–26 financial year, along with a 7.8 per cent growth rate in the January-March 2026 quarter, demonstrate the resilience of the country’s economy despite challenges posed by the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, the involvement of the United States, and the prolonged Russia-Ukraine war.

He attributed India’s growth momentum to structural reforms undertaken by the NDA government. He maintained that India has succeeded in maintaining economic stability despite global supply-chain disruptions and economic uncertainties.

The 20-point chairman alleged that certain political groups are attempting to create confusion and instability by spreading misinformation and divisive narratives, particularly among the youth. Referring to a programme held in Delhi, he claimed that some participants had previously opposed key policy decisions, including the CAA, the abrogation of Article 370, and the abolition of triple talaq.

Dinakar alleged that the Congress and its allies are trying to mislead younger voters for political gains. However, he said India’s youth have repeatedly demonstrated political awareness and continued to support policies focused on development, national security, and economic progress.
