Kotamreddy Seeks Public Support For Alliance In Civic Polls
Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy appealed to voters to support coalition candidates in all 72 divisions, citing ₹857 crore in development works.
With the Nellore Municipal Corporation elections approaching, Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy on Wednesday appealed to people to support the coalition parties in all 72 divisions, while highlighting development works worth `857 crore taken up in the rural segment.
Addressing a press conference, Sridhar Reddy said `109 crore had been sanctioned for 625 development works in the 36 divisions under Nellore Rural. He said the works would be launched and completed at the earliest based on local requirements.
He said development works worth `857 crore had been completed or were under way in Nellore Rural since the coalition government assumed office. Another `300 crore was expected to be brought to the Nellore Municipal Corporation by municipal administration minister P. Narayana, he added.
The MLA said the three coalition parties might have separate organisational identities, but were working with “one flag and one agenda” for the civic elections. He appealed to voters to support alliance candidates in all 72 divisions.
Sridhar Reddy also thanked collector Himanshu Shukla for his support in securing 500 acres for an industrial zone at Amancherla and Central funds for development works at Narasimha Konda. He said efforts were also being made to attract major industries to Amancherla.
