Konaseema: 7 Fishermen Missing For 14 Days, Families File Complaint

According to the complaint, the fishermen set out for fishing to Visakhapatnam from the Odalarevu coast on August 3rd.

Amalapuram: Seven fishermen from Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema district in Andhra Pradesh have reportedly gone missing at sea after setting out for fishing on the 3rd of this month. Worried family members on Monday lodged a complaint with the Allavaram Marine Police seeking help to trace them.

According to the complaint, the fishermen set out to Visakhapatnam from the Odalarevu coast on August 3rd. However, signals from the boat stopped just an hour after they left for fishing. The fishermen were supposed to return within 10 days, but they have not returned yet, leaving their families anxious.

Based on the family members' complaint at the Marine Police Station, authorities have launched intensive search operations in the sea.
