Devotees were permitted for darshan from 11.00 am onwards.

Nellore: In view of the annual Brahmotsavams scheduled to be held from February 8 to 16, the traditional Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was performed in a grand manner on Thursday at the Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram.
As per temple tradition, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam is conducted prior to the commencement of the annual Brahmotsavams. The ritual was held from 6.30 am to 11.00 am.
During the Tirumanjanam, the entire temple premises—including walls, ceilings and all puja articles—were thoroughly cleansed with water. A sacred aromatic mixture known as ‘Parimalam’ was also sprinkled throughout the temple as part of the purification ritual.
Devotees were permitted for darshan from 11.00 am onwards.
On the occasion, Sri Mani of Tirupati donated two curtains and two canopies to the temple.
The ritual was attended by special grade deputy EO Varalakshmi, VGO Giridhar, AEO Gopinath, superintendent Ramesh Babu, temple inspectors Dhanasekhar and Munikumar, temple priests Balaji Rangacharyulu, and other temple staff.
