KMC Nets Rs.23.66 Crore in Property Taxes in April

Kurnool: The Municipal Corporation has collected ₹23.66 crore in property taxes during April, comprising ₹21.86 crore from payments for the current financial year 2025–26 and ₹1.86 crore from pending dues.
Commissioner S. Ravindra Babu stated on Wednesday that the surge in collections was due to the state government’s rebate scheme, which offered a 50% waiver on interest for outstanding property tax and a 5% discount for advance payments, valid until April 30.
