Ketan Garg Assumes Additional Charge as VMRDA Chief
Garg formally assumed charge at the VMRDA office in Visakhapatnam on Saturday.
Visakhapatnam:Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) commissioner Ketan Garg on Saturday assumed full additional charge as the in-charge metropolitan commissioner of the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA).
According to a government order issued by the state municipal administration and urban development department, Garg has been entrusted with the additional responsibility until the newly appointed metropolitan commissioner of VMRDA takes charge.
The order stated that he would continue to hold the dual responsibilities of GVMC commissioner and in-charge metropolitan commissioner of VMRDA until further orders.
Garg formally assumed charge at the VMRDA office in Visakhapatnam on Saturday. Officials of the authority were present during the proceedings.
