Kashibugga CI, SI Sent To VR Over Seediri Appalaraju's Son's Case
Doubts over the conduct of the Kashibugga police officers have surfaced since the beginning of the case. They face allegations of tampering with witnesses in the road accident case.

Srikakulam: Andhra Pradesh Police Department has taken temporary disciplinary action against Kashibugga police station officers, Circle Inspector Ramakrishna and Sub Inspector M. Suneel, in connection with the hit-and-run case involving the son of YSRCP leader and former minister Seediri Appala Raju. Citing negligence in duty and allegations of aiding the accused, action has been taken against them, with Superintendent of Police K.V. Maheswar Reddy issuing orders, putting them in the Vacancy Reserve category, and they were told to wait for the next posting.
Doubts over the conduct of the Kashibugga police officers have surfaced since the beginning of the case. They face allegations of tampering with witnesses in the road accident case where Sidiri Arav Varma, who allegedly killed one shepherd named Danayya on July 10 near the old National Highway of Kasibugga in an accident.
With the help of the police, it was reported that they allegedly filed a case against Siddarth, a friend of Arav, under whose name the bike was registered, under pressure from the YSRCP leader Appalaraju. With the transfer of both the CI and SI to VR, senior officials have signaled a zero-tolerance approach toward dereliction of duty.
